Colonial Williamsburg, VA is a great treat. While there we saw three concerts. The first featured a glass armonica played by Dean Shostak. There were other glass instruments played as well. Very interesting. The second concert featured two harpsichords in the church in historic Williamsburg. Other orchestral instruments and fantastic cantors were wonderful. The third concert was a perfect end to the day. A harpsichord and viola da gamba duet playing music written for the viola da gamba alternated with a brief history surrounding the viola da gamba. Unfortunately, no picture taking was allowed.
