We started upon the Blue Ridge Parkway around Hendersonville, NC. The views are breath taking. We did our best to pretend the weather was not as cold and raining as it really was. Were we convincing enough? We traveled along the parkway towards Luray, VA until it go too dark to appreciate. Had we not had reservations at an Inn in Luray we would have stayed a night along the parkway and traveled another day.
