Alison Alison Alison... oh where do I begin? Alison is one of my dearest friends. Like many of my friends, I met Alison my first year at WPI. Funny thing is, she didn't go there... then anyway. But I am getting ahead of myself. Let me start from the beginning.

In the process of making evening plans one day at WPI, I asked, "So, what are you up to this evening?" of a friend of mine also attending the school. He replied, "I'm picking Alison up from the bus station." After learning the arrival time and the location of the Worcester bus station and his plans to travel on foot, I thought it best to accompany him. Good thing I did too. You see, Alison was fond of luggage way back then. They would have had quite a time getting it all back to campus on foot by themselves. So, to cut the story short, Alison gets off the bus, we are introduced and I proceed to lug several large bags ~1.5 miles back to campus.

After a short while I noticed that Alison would be left outside the dining hall frequently during her visits to WPI, sometimes for a few hours at a time. To ease my horror at this treatment of Alison by her "friend" I used to hang out with her, often subjecting myself to self inflicted foolishness I call "Stupid Human Tricks" to amuse her. She has willingly served as a captive audience any time I wish to bring aches, pains and much shame upon myself ever since.

After a while Alison ended up transferring to WPI from Mount Holyoke College. In addition to making visiting much easier, she earned a wonderful education in Computer Science. Don't ya just love beautiful computer geek girls?

Alison has no on-line presence. Actually, she's online all the time, she just doesn't have a web site or anything. She's so cool, she doesn't need one. If she does get bored enough to grace the electrons with her own personal site, I'll be sure to provide a link here.
