have you ever seen sunrise from a hill top
maybe there's some clouds in the sky
they are light and a little hazy
the sky starts to get that glow
its warm and gentle
colour starts to appear in everything
where there was only darkness and shadows before

then you start to see it
the sun climbing just beyond the horizon
it starts as a tiny bright dot
and grows into a sweeping curve
all the while getting brighter
lighting everything within view

then you see the sun in full
look directly at it for a moment

you just have to wonder why you are so lucky to exist
so that you can be witness to such a beautiful thing
almost impossible it could be 
could you ever comprehend everything it means

all of sudden you start to feel its warmth
wonder how you didn't notice it all the days before

that is how it feels with you
