OK, so this is officially over. Car is picked out, purchased and picked up. I confess I didn't keep the info here up to date as I hoped I would. Oh well. I was leaning towards a M3 Coupe but while shopping I happened upon a fantastic M Coupe deal. In a moment of strength, or weakness depending on your point of view, I went for it. So far I am happy with the decision. Eventually you'll see some pictures of it and stuff. I just have to figure out a way to present it that doesn't scream egotistical maniac car freak substituting personal transportation for general worth of character or physique. I realize that some will accuse me of it regardless of presentation but they just wish they were more like me. ;) (That was a personal dig on myself for those of you not familiar with my self-deprecating style of humor.)

      So, the lease on the 1995 Eldorado has ended. Time for some new wheels... new for me at least. Here I will put all my research notes, links and thoughts about which car to get next. Now, this really isn't for your benefit. I have had trouble keeping track of my thoughts and decisions among life's other distractions, so I thought it would be fun and useful to make a project out of the experience. I do hope you find it useful or amusing. Besides, I know you're dying to know what a Computer Scientist / Performance Engineer goes through when selecting a vehicle. I may get a little crazy and run amok with my choices. Please feel free to "remind" of reality once in a while.
