Pipe Dream ] [ Up: Motherboard ]

I was looking for a dual processor motherboard. I was pretty sure about using 370 socket, Pentium III. Other important things include AGP 2/4X, Ultra DMA 66/100, 133 front Side Bus, SCSI, up to 2/4 GB RAM, lots of exspansion slots, to name a few.

What I considered

Name: VP6
Manufacturer: Abit
Why I like it:
  • Ultra DMA 100
  • RAID on IDE
  • AGP 4X
  • 4 USB, 2 on board, 2 by cable
  • VIA chip set
  • Affordable ~$150
Concerns:
  • No on board SCSI
  • No on board Network
